Background

Local businesses needed a modern way to run promotions and reward loyal customers. Existing loyalty platforms were expensive, complex to set up, and didn't cater to small-to-medium businesses looking for a simple, effective solution.

Goal

Build a live promotional platform that allows businesses to create and manage rewards programs, while providing customers with a seamless experience to discover and redeem promotions.

What I built

• Architected a multi-tenant platform on AWS using DynamoDB for scalable data storage and Lambda for serverless API endpoints
• Built a business-facing admin panel for creating promotions, tracking redemptions, and viewing customer engagement analytics
• Developed the customer-facing React application with location-based promotion discovery and a streamlined redemption flow
• Implemented real-time notification and promotion delivery systems using AWS services to keep users engaged

Outcome

Launched a live platform with a growing user base of businesses and customers. The platform provided businesses with an affordable, easy-to-use loyalty solution and gave customers a convenient way to discover and redeem local promotions.
