Background

Different organizational units needed different questions in their HR forms and different approval sequences. A shared application needed to accommodate these variations.

Goal

Develop an Oracle APEX application for position requests and approvals, with a custom interface and a flexible way to manage unit-specific requirements.

What I built

• Proposed a configurable approach instead of separate, hardcoded forms and workflows for each unit
• Built an administrative dashboard where authorized administrators could create and edit forms and configure approval sequences
• Developed a custom interface with consistent styling, transitions, alerts, and notifications
• Demonstrated working functionality in weekly stakeholder meetings and incorporated feedback throughout development

Outcome

Delivered a working application with configurable forms and approval workflows. The organization ultimately selected another software solution, so this project did not enter production.
