Sales Tracking Platform

Background

A food processing company was tracking sales manually using spreadsheets. The sales team had no real-time visibility into performance metrics, and generating reports was time-consuming and error-prone.

Goal

Build a web-based sales tracker with real-time reporting and granular analytics, delivered under a tight two-week deadline from concept to production.

What I built

• Rapidly prototyped the application architecture, prioritizing the most critical features for the two-week delivery window
• Built a React dashboard with real-time data visualization showing daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
• Implemented a DynamoDB-backed API for sales data entry, retrieval, and aggregation with optimized query patterns for reporting
• Deployed the full stack on AWS with automated CI/CD to enable rapid iteration during the compressed timeline

Outcome

Delivered the complete application in under two weeks, on time and fully functional. The sales team gained real-time visibility into their performance for the first time, eliminating hours of manual spreadsheet work and enabling faster business decisions.
